description
The VMS Hub acts as the central repository for positions received from UK commercial fishing vessels and foreign vessel in UK waters. The service is bespoke UK functionality developed from a largely off-the-shelf marine tracking system. The system is used by the England fishing authority and the devolved administrations and crown dependencies of the UK. MMO is the lead authority in commissioning this service.
