description
Milton Keynes City Council is exploring future models for the delivery of accommodation-based support for adults experiencing homelessness, housing instability and multiple disadvantage.
The Council wishes to test the market's capacity to deliver an integrated accommodation and progression pathway that combines:
| • | accommodation; |
| • | housing management; |
| • | intensive person-centred support; |
| • | progression planning; |
| • | move-on into settled housing; and |
| • | tenancy sustainment. |
The Council wishes to better understand the market's ability to move beyond traditional accommodation provision or stand-alone support services to inform the future development of a model where accommodation, support and progression are designed and delivered as a single, integrated pathway.
The Council considers accommodation to be a key intervention in achieving improved outcomes rather than simply the setting in which support is delivered.
