Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is undertaking a pre-market engagement exercise to inform the future commissioning of Adult Social Care Extra Care services delivered at the following locations: Fitzwilliam Court, Bethel Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S74 9JZ Westmeads, Meadstead Drive, Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S71 4PT The Extra Care service provides flexible, person-centred care and support within these schemes, enabling older people to maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes for as long as possible. Care and support are tailored to individual needs through personalised care and support plans, with provision adjusted as needs change over time. The service promotes independence, wellbeing, dignity, choice, social inclusion, and meaningful participation in community life. The session will be held on Tuesday 11 August 2026 between 2pm and 3pm. Suppliers will be required to complete and return Appendix 2 via YORtender by 12noon on 06/08/2026 to confirm their attendance.
