The Authority wishes to award a contract for the improvement of the Austwick to Clapham bridleway on the A65. To include:

Resurface approximately 430m of the public bridleway to a bound surface appropriate for all users of the bridleway with a flexible porous surface - suitable for all users of the public bridleway and light agricultural vehicles. 2m wide surfacing with approximately 0.5m verge buffer strip either side
Remove and reinstation of soil/turf
Create a splayed/bound entrance exit either side of the bridleway to interconnect into the B480
Include appropriate road markings for cyclists to give way to traffic when merging with the highway.
Install reinforced concrete farm crossing to E10 Standard or other bound surface suitable for agricultural vehicular access
Manage any traffic management orders needed within the scope of the works, including designing, supplying and deploying any barriers, signage and traffic light systems.
