Insurance Consultancy & Renewal Support Agreement

Independent Insurance Advisory & Support Services Agreement (2026-2029) covers the provision of specialist, independent consultancy services to support the organisation's insurance programme, renewal activities, market engagement, and overall risk and value‑for‑money assurance.

Under this contract, the appointed consultant will provide comprehensive annual support, including the independent review of the organisation's insurance arrangements, identification of risk exposures, and assessment of the adequacy and competitiveness of existing policies. The service includes direct assistance with annual insurance renewal negotiations, offering an impartial second opinion on all insurance‑related matters and applying market pressure to insurers to ensure optimal pricing, service quality, flexibility, and value.

The contract also provides access to the consultant's wider market intelligence, sector knowledge, and specialist expertise. This includes advisory support for emerging risks, new activities, organisational changes, and strategic developments such as mergers or acquisitions that may affect insurance requirements.

As part of the annual fee, future tender management and procurement support will be provided at no additional cost, ensuring continued alignment with best value for money (VFM) principles.

The contract is structured over a three‑year period with fixed annual fees designed to control costs and ensure transparency:

1. April 2026 - 31 March 2027: £30,000 + VAT
1. April 2027 - 31 March 2028: £35,000 + VAT
1. April 2028 - 31 March 2029: £38,000 + VAT

This agreement ensures continuity, market independence, robust oversight of insurance arrangements, and ongoing access to expert advice, delivering long‑term value and strengthened risk management.
