description

The purpose of this new framework agreement is to provide a comprehensive solution suitable for PfH’s members in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland for the supply and installation of communal door and door entry systems.

The framework will be split into 3 Lots based on the material used to construct each door type: Lot 1 – aluminium, Lot 2 - steel and Lot 3 – timber.

Each Lot includes survey, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the communal entrance door sets including frames, leaves, glazing or infill panels, ironmongery, locking systems, access‑control interfaces, thresholds and sealing.

Suppliers will also be required to provide and maintain wired and non-wired door entry systems within each Lot.

The framework will not include the provision of fire doors or other types of domestic doors.

It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will be awarded for a period of 2 years, with two optional extension periods of 1 year (2+1+1 = 4 years in total).
