The service required is :

Provision of Health Physics Services located at United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory, Preston Laboratory, Springfields site, Salwick.

The Contractor shall provide a monitoring service to UKNNL Preston for:

1a)Barrier monitoring (clearances).
1b)RACCS (Real-time Active Contamination and clearance systems) monitoring.
1c)Monitoring and sentencing of waste.

To facilitate the above service, the Contractor will provide a dedicated full-time monitor between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30 (with a 45-minute break), Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) and with reasonable endeavours an additional monitor between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30 one day per week (excluding Public Holidays).

The required day for the additional monitor is to be agreed between the Customer and the Contractor.

2)Provide an environmental monitoring service to UKNNL Preston for:
a)Air sampling.
b)Stack sampling.
c)Bubbler changes and
d)Sampling equipment filter changes.

To facilitate the above service the Contractor will supply an additional monitor who will complete the work, as required, on a day rate, schedule to be agreed between the Customer and Contractor.
