The successful supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Pentrehafod School, located in Swansea, Wales.

The value of the contract is approximately £190,000 per annum.

The duration of the contract being offered is three years commencing on 1st September 2026 and concluding on 31st August 2029 and will be on a guaranteed performance basis offering a fixed annual subsidy to the school. There will be the option to extend the contract for a further term further term of one + one years.

Pentrehafod School is a large secondary school located in Hafod, Swansea, serving pupils aged 11–16. With approximately 1,131 pupils on roll, the school operates within the local authority of Swansea Council and serves a highly diverse community. Pentrehafod has a strong inclusive ethos, supporting pupils from a wide range of cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and places significant emphasis on wellbeing, student voice and positive relationships across the school community.

The school is recognised nationally for its commitment to inclusion, having been the first secondary school in Wales to achieve School of Sanctuary status, reflecting its welcoming approach to refugee and asylum-seeking families. Pentrehafod also hosts a Specialist Teaching Facility supporting pupils with additional learning needs, alongside well-established provision for learners with English as an additional language. The school’s ethos centres on developing pupils who are ready, resilient, respectful and safe, underpinned by high expectations and strong community engagement.
