Utilities Management Service

Essex County Council has awarded a contract for the provision of a comprehensive Utilities Management Service across its property portfolio.

The service covers the management of electricity, gas, water, oil and LPG utilities, including invoice validation, billing management, data collection and analysis, metering support, portfolio reporting, energy risk management and procurement support. The contract will support the Council in ensuring accurate and compliant utility management, achieving value for money, and maintaining effective governance across its estate.

The service includes the provision of a secure online utilities management platform, detailed consumption and cost reporting, benchmarking and performance analytics, support for energy purchasing and hedging activities, and the identification of opportunities to reduce energy consumption and utility costs. The contract will contribute to Essex County Council's strategic objectives, including improving estate efficiency and enabling informed decision-making through high-quality data, reporting and market intelligence.
