description
The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire has been awarded funding from Ministry of Justice for a general Victim Needs Assessment, the contract has been awarded to provider via an internal exemption process due to urgency (the funds need to be claimed and used within a timescale that would prohibit a fuller procurement process). In addition, provider has a proven track record having undertaken previous victims needs assessments on behalf of the OPCC and these are used by the OPCC to inform strategic decision making regarding the provision and funding of various victims support services over the medium term. Previously when an open market procurement exercise has been undertaken for these services, the provider have been the only bidder. An updated victim needs assessment is now required to inform victims support service needs over the next 4/5 years.
