description
Border Force Maritime Directorate have a requirement for the supply of 24 x Marine Engine Anti-Vibration Mounts (AVR) to replace the existing engine mounts on the fleet of Coast Patrol Vessels.
The Buyer has a requirement to purchase replacement 24 x Antivibration Mounts ( AVR ) suitable for marine propulsion engines of over 1,000 SHP.
The existing mounts are Christie Grey MPM/1-BLACK MOUNT TAPPED M24, The buyer requires the same or similar specification compliant with the following AVR design considerations.

| B. | Have two fixing holes of 18mm dia, suitable for 16m tapped fixing bolts |
| C. | Have a top threaded fixing M24 x 32mm deep |
| D. | Have an overhaul free load height of 127mm |
| E. | Suitable for continuous operation |
| F. | Provide a 10-year working life |
| G. | Have the ability to withstand roll over emersion of the vessel, retaining integrity of the engine mounts |
| H. | Have a NBR shore harness of 60 |
| I. | Include reference points for measurement of the engine mounts in service performance |
| J. | Painted to specification DS056 |
| K. | The AVR design Must be able to be installed onto the existing vessel engine bearers, with 2 x M16 base fixings drilled 18mm. |
