description

A procurement for the provision of Strategy and road mapping exercise for non-destructive testing techniques for in-vessel components.

The objective of this (desk-based) project is to define holistic manufacturing and qualification inspection strategies for specific identified components within the tokamak, based on current component designs and proposed methods of manufacture, to enable the qualification of the components through manufacturing and assembly. The scope of work excludes any in-situ inspection of components, and also excludes inspection of any irradiated components that have been removed from the tokamak; it will cover new product qualification through to highvolume production.
