Health Bank Project For Water Street and John Street

Cumberland Council is commissioning a specialist in-reach healthcare service valued at £42,331 over a maximum 2-year term to support residents in emergency accommodation at 1 John Street (men's service) and 1 Water Street (women and families). Delivered in partnership with Cumbria Health, the service includes regular on-site GP and mental health nurse appointments, group health sessions, and individual support, aimed at improving access to care, reducing A&E presentations, and supporting discharge planning. This initiative aligns with the Council's Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025-2030, focusing on ending rough sleeping and delivering tailored, accessible health support.
