description
The Labour Manifesto committed the government to undertake a Pensions Review, to
consider what further steps are needed to increase investment in UK markets and improve
outcomes for pension savers. The Review aims to build on the success of the previous
Turner Commission (2004-06) and will provide recommendations on the above.
- Phase 1 of the Review, focused on investment, was launched in July 2024
- Phase 2, which will be focused on adequacy and improving the outcomes of current and future pensioners is due to commence.
This contract allows for the completion of Phase 2 of the review.
