description
A National Baseline Assessment (NBA) on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) would bring together an analysis of the legal and policy measures taken by the UK Government to implement the UNGPs, with an assessment of the extent to which UK businesses respect human rights and implement human rights due diligence in line with the UNGPs. An NBA would help build the evidence base for legal, policy, and institutional options on business and human rights, and might identify further research and data collection needs.
