SGN is looking to develop a strategy for the procurement of the support, upgrade and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of the physical security at an estimated 45 sites across Scotland and Southern England.

The requirements will range from maintenance of assets such as perimeter fencing, CCTV equipment to the Alarm Receiving Centre and associated software integrations, and may include the following key areas:

Creation of a comprehensive asset register for all sites
Architecture, design, and configuration, of the applications supporting the Gallagher, Bosch and Stentofon suite of products
Upgrade and management of the physical security control software suite.
Privileged Access Maintenance and the incorporation of Joiners, Movers, Leavers processes.
Establishing and maintaining a roadmap to manage obsolescence of the security estate.
PPM of perimeter fencing, including electric fencing, gates, and vehicle barriers.
PPM of the Gallagher Intruder Detection Systems and Automated Access Control devices.
PPM of the CCTV (Closed Circuit Television), Altron CCTV Camera Column & Stentofon Video Intercom.
PPM of Physical access controls, such as HID and Gallagher readers and IP intercoms

The information received as part of this Rfi process will be used to develop the relating procurement strategy which will govern the subsequent tendering activities. Timelines and the contract value are estimates and will be finalised as part of the strategy.
