Contract to provide an Account Based Ticketing Solution which was let under two Lots, Lot 1 - Account Based Ticketing Solution and Lot 2 - Handheld Devices. The purpose of the contract is to provide the following:
- A 'token agnostic' ABT solution which will support journey 'taps' from EMV and ITSO will be procured.
- Improving customer journeys by modernising ticketing, offering improved accessibility, flexibility, and best value fares;
- Enabling integration with other transport operators across multiple modes within the Liverpool City Region;
- Supporting changes adopted through the multi operator zonal review;
- Introducing a financially sustainable solution that makes best use of existing infrastructure and recent investments, including PVALs and the Smart Metro Portal;
- Help protect and grow revenue; and
- Adopt a sustainable retail solution that aligns with local and national ticketing strategies
