The Provision of Facilities Services for NIFRS

NIFRS objective is to get an understanding from the market and what would be the best solution to provide FM Services to LDC Cookstown.

NIFRS currently use a Term Service Contract to undertake planned and reactive maintenance throughout their estate and a BSO PaLS Contract for Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance and Waste Management. NIFRS do have the option to merge this site into this contract; however, there are some services that aren’t included within the TSSC e.g. Catering, Security and maintenance of bespoke Fire Fighting Props.

At this stage, NIFRS are uncertain if a standalone catering provision contract would be attractive to the market, or would a package of combined soft services e.g. catering, cleaning (including window cleaning, waste management, security and grounds maintenance be more attractive to the market

In order to avoid failed procurement exercise and gain an understanding operating models.

Any information gathered through this market consultation exercise may inform internal business planning and any possible subsequent procurement process and will NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise.
