description
Walsall Council are seeking to procure a Computer Aided Facilities Management System for use within Corporate Landlord for the effective management of its portfolio of buildings. As part of a restructure within Walsall Council a decision has been made to procure and implement a suitable computer aided facilities management system to combine the data into an easily usable operator friendly system to both reduce workloads and multiple handling of data. In addition to this the system will work to integrate repairs and maintenance, contract management, stock condition, financial projections, stock appraisal, statutory compliance, including gas and electric, asbestos management, DLO management, material stock control and links to secondary systems. It is envisaged that any system will utilise modern electronic data capture methods where possible but is accepted that some processes may require scanning of documentation.
