description
Following on from current work on the Geological Disposal Technical Programme, and to develop further the technical scope underpinning the programme, RWM wishes to establish a phased, integrated project to develop technically feasible and scientifically underpinned sealing systems to meet RWM’s long-term safety requirements. The project shall consider sealing system options for disposal vaults, tunnels, and accessways and be relevant to the range of geological environments and waste types pertinent to a UK GDF.
