description
NWL are looking to appoint a number of Direct Delivery Partner(s) to help our Capital Delivery teams deliver low complexity short-cycle MEICA projects which will ensure they are being delivered in the most efficient manner, with a suitable and sustainable commercial model driving value for the business. NWL are always looking at how we can use innovation in both working methods and technology while striving to reduce our carbon footprint and we will expect any successful applicants to help us achieve this.
The anticipated value is £1-£2m per annum.
This framework aims to cover:
- Low complexity and short-cycle Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) works associated with NWL's above or below ground assets including but not limited to sewerage and water treatment works, reservoirs, pumping stations, inlets and outlets. NWL may also wish to second individuals into their Direct Delivery Teams
subject to agreement between both parties.
- Low complexity short-cycle project work would generally (but not exclusively) be considered as the renewal, refurbishment and similar like for like replacement activities with typical project values ranging up to £500k. The works could be standalone projects or working in partnership with NWL's internal direct delivery teams. There may also be a requirement for batched projects resulting in higher value contracts, however, complexity would generally remain low. While we are looking for specialist MEICA contractors the associated civil works required for the projects are included but this is not the primary scope.
The scope of services (examples but not be limited to):
- Site investigation including surveys;
- Mechanical plant and equipment associated with water and wastewater treatment assets;
- Electrical plant and equipment associated with water and wastewater treatment assets;
- ICA plant and equipment associated with water and wastewater treatment assets;
- Related civil works.
The majority of the requirements will be for NW operating area however the framework will also cover ESW and there will be some opportunities to deliver works in the ESW operating
area too.
