description

The Authority will be looking to source 2 x commercial fixed wing aircraft to conduct MPT for Defence. The aircraft require the ability to airdrop parachutists at Low Level (Static Line) via simultaneous sticks (side doors) and the ability to drop High-Altitude Parachutists (HAP) conducting freefall from a tailgate ramp (20-25,000 ft). The parachuting platforms should be recognised parachute training aircraft able to operate by day and night. MPT involves ab initio static line parachute training, conducted from a Main Operating Base (likely to be RAF Brize Norton) and experienced parachutists conducting freefall using square parachutes. The aircraft type must be able to carry a min of 20 x parachutists and be able to facilitate an oxygen (O2) capability for HAP. The contractor will meet MAA and CAA regulations for the delivery of parachuting and provide both the required, type rated aircrew and engineers to maintain and sustain the operation.

The Authority intends to conduct Early Market Engagement. To express an interest please contact will.scarratt@yahoo.com
