Dartford Festival 2018 - 2020 (3 years) Infrastructure & Entertainment

Dartford Borough Council invites you to tender for its Dartford Festival Infrastructure & Entertainment requirements.

The Council is seeking to commission a Festival Organiser / Event Management Company to develop, manage and deliver a two day programme of events, activities and entertainment on Saturday 14th July 2018 between 12 noon and 7pm and Sunday 15th July between 10:45am and 6pm (starting with a local church service between 10:45am - 12 noon) in Central Park, Dartford DA1 1JP. Although only based on estimates, there is an average of between 15,000 and 20,000 people who have previously attended each Festival day. The Council wishes to appoint a contractor who can develop and grow the Festival, and would welcome ideas on the development of the future Festivals.

It is essential the successful tenderer deliver to the public a safe event; that meets all the statutory obligations under relevant legislation including licencing and health and safety, ACoP's.

The successful tenderer will have experience of planning, scheduling and managing event builds on green field sites. They will be skilled at managing a wide variety of contractors, ensuring a high level of work is delivered and maintained.

The successful tenderer will manage all aspects of production of the Dartford Festival in 2018, 2019, and 2020, i.e. it is a 3 year contract with one event each year.
