International Student Coach Collection (with Driver)

The University of Southampton has successfully concluded and awarded a contract for the provision of an International Students Coach Collections (with Driver) service.

The University requires collection of International students from Heathrow and Gatwick on certain days of the year (start of new academic year, start of new semester etc).

The successful supplier will be expected to organise and plan the collection of students in the run up to collection days and to collect and transport students back to several Halls of Residence throughout both Southampton and Winchester on collection days.

The supplier will be expected to plan for arrivals and delays throughout the collection days and to manage all aspects of waiting, filling up one coach and then replacing it with the next etc etc. All luggage should be handled by the supplier and not the travellers.

Staff and student helpers will also need transportation to the airports ahead of the first arrivals and will need to be transported back on the coaches – the supplier should also plan the best and most cost effective way of managing this.

Provision for disabled travellers may well be required.
