The Disruptive Businesses Directorate covers a number of policy areas, one of which is focussed on identifying and engaging with disruptive and transformative businesses, and identifying opportunities and barriers to growth within these.
The aim of the exercise is to give analysts in the Disruptive Businesses Directorate access to intelligence on market trends in business innovation and technology. It will give them information to use in prioritising sectors for further analysis, identify trends relevant to the UK business environment, and maintain awareness of emerging trends which could have an impact on the UK economy, labour market and society.
The objectives of this tender exercise are to:
| • | To enable Disruptive Businesses Directorate to identify and to stay aware of developing trends in emerging innovations and technologies, |
| • | To provide Disruptive Businesses Directorate with key information on emerging trends in innovation and technologies such as market leaders, current and future market size (UK and globally), and market readiness |
| • | To provide Disruptive Businesses Directorate with information on the convergence of technological innovation and business models to create new markets and new value propositions |

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.

As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS will be using the CCS eSourcing Suite for this procurement.

Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk.
Your email must clearly state:

Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The Sourcing documents can then be accessed on the eSourcing Suite at: https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk using the instructions detailed in the Specification documents within Contracts Finder.
As a user of the e-Sourcing Suite you will have access to Emptoris email messaging service which facilitates all messages sent to you and from you in relation to any specific RFX event.
