Market Engagement Event for Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) Service for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR)
Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU) on behalf of the commissioners, West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (WL CCG), East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning (ELR CCG) and Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (LC CCG), would like to invite providers to attend a ‘Market Engagement Event’ which will inform the market of the commissioners intentions to re-procure the NEPT service for LLR.
NEPT is the non-urgent and planned transportation of patients to and from a premises providing NHS healthcare and between healthcare providers. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) are responsible for funding non-emergency patient transport (NEPT).
The NEPT service contract provides for the movement of patients and their health related equipment (including oxygen) to and from NHS locations across Leicestershire and out within its borders, to and from the residence (including care homes) of Leicestershire’s (GP registered) population for the purpose of pre-determined NHS patient appointments and other clinical visits.

The Market Engagement Event will take place in the morning on 24th August 2016 in Leicester City Centre.
The Market Engagement Event will provide:
| • | an overview of the service to be provided |
| • | details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions |
| • | an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timeline |
| • | an opportunity for you to ask questions and feedback on the presentations |
