description

Personal Safety Dealing with Violence and Aggression Training

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough "The Council" requires Personal Safety - Dealing with Violence & Aggression training to be delivered to staff located in various high-risk areas across the council.

Most staff will be based in Repairs, Fleet Services, Estate Services, Highways, Grounds Maintenance and Adult Services so the course needs to fit a wider audience as most sessions will have a mix of delegates from different areas.

The course must be tailored to meet a variety of situations that various teams within the council may encounter. The focus will need to be at the preventative level and how to remove yourself safely from a situation with an element of customer care to reduce the number of violence and aggression incidents.

Approximately 600 employees require half-day training with a maximum of 15 delegates attending each cohort. This figure will likely change due to business demand or higher priority projects taking precedence. Training must be delivered in a classroom at a Sandwell MBC venue.

Training must be delivered in a classroom environment but with the option to deliver virtually if requested by Sandwell MBC.
