description

The GMC is looking to procure a new (MFA) Multi Factor Authentication solution, to increase security when accessing GMC systems remotely.

GMC currently use the Safenet Safeword MFA solution when staff are connecting using Citrix.

GMC would require the solution to cover 1,100 staff accessing the following services:

1.Citrix
2.Outlook Web Access
3.LiveLink Extranet
4.VPN
5.Cloud/SaaS

We are looking to hold information gathering meetings at our Manchester office on Tuesday 20/06/2017 and we would like to cover the following topics:

1.Advantages and Disadvantages of each type of solution e.g. physical, software, biometric etc.
2.Demonstration of the different types of tokens for GMC staff to test the usability.
3.How the solution can be managed and controlled from within the IS department, including the process to allocate and revoke tokens.

To book one of the 1.5 hour slots, please email the Procurement Team at gmctenders@gmc-uk.org We will operate on a first come first served basis. Please be aware that time slots are extremely limited and are likely to fill up very quickly.

We anticipate that the tender will be published towards the end of June 2017.
