description
The University of Suffolk currently hosts its Student Records System in an on-premises environment. As part of its strategic objective to modernise and automate its technology infrastructure, the university plans to transition to a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for all its key services over the next two years, following the principle of 'adopt, not adapt', leveraging out-of-the-box functionality rather than extensive customisation.
Under the SaaS delivery model, we expect the Student Records System software application to be hosted and managed remotely by the service provider. All core components, encompassing compute resources, storage, infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and application software, will be configured, maintained, and upgraded by the provider, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reduced operational overhead for the university. We are therefore seeking a provider who can demonstrate a track record of successfully implementing a SaaS solution covering the student lifecycle within the Higher Education sector for a Student Records System.
