description

***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION *****

This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Technology Transfer and Commercialisation DPS - Category 1, Market Research and Market Need.

Summary of requirements

The Innovation Unit at NHM was recently set up with a dual mission of creating more impact and reach from their science and diversify income streams to realise the full value of NHM science.

One key opportunity for exploitation is that of their chalk-dating tool. It is anticipated that such technology would have wide applications however, the potential markets are not yet fully understood and NHM welcome challenges to their assumptions and the identification of new markets.

In order to evaluate the feasibility and to directly inform the future commercialisation strategy for bringing this technology to market, this DPS call-off is to provide support to the NHM in understanding, assessing and recommending the most promising market opportunities for this technology.
