Derby City Council, working on behalf of the Derby Opportunity Area (OA) and the Department for Education, is inviting tenders for the supply of a package of support that together, will form our Inclusion programme in Year 4 (2020/21 Academic Year).
This project aims to strengthen collaborative working and leave in place a shared Derby citywide approach on inclusion, as well as heightened awareness of behaviour, mental health and SEND issues and early, effective identification intervention, improved practice, and consistent messages to families and pupils. By facilitating greater collaboration and partnership working, encouraging collective ownership of these issues, as well as increasing the capacity and capability of mainstream schools to provide effective inclusion and behaviour interventions and support all pupils, particularly the most vulnerable.
