Supply & Installation of CCTV for Emergency Fire Vehicles

Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority is intending to let a contract on behalf of Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire and Rescue Service (BMKFRS) and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) for the supply and installation of CCTV to the emergency vehicles.. The duration of the contract will be five years with the initial volumes across year 1 and 2, followed by smaller volumes in years 3 to 5 as new vehicles are added into the services fleet.

Estimated volumes are as follows:

Initial Requirement:

To be completed by 31 March 2016 BMKFRS 25 RBFRS 50 = Total of 75

Year 2: Phased from April 2016-March 2017: BMKFRS 25 RBFRS 0 = Total of 25

Phased across Years 3-5: BMKFRS 20 RBFRS 10= Total of 30

These volumes are estimations only and are subject to change

A dedicated location within each services premises will be provided for the installation of the CCTV to the services fire appliances. A schedule of installation will be required. Installation of year 1 requirements will commence following contract award January 2016 and completion is required by 31 March 2016. Each service will make available a maximum of 2 fire appliances per day, to maintain operational resilience.

Additional information: This process is a two stage process. You are required to Submit a PQQ as the first stage of th eprocess. Should yo ube successful at the PQQ stage you will be invited to participate in the tender process via the ITT.
