description

Leicestershire County Council are currently developing a new "in-house" weight management service, through the absorption of the previously commissioned NHS Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service and the addition of new public facing and triaging services.

We are seeking to add a high-quality cloud-based weight management app to our portfolio of weight management support available to the Leicestershire population. The digital package will expand the reach and flexibility of our service offer, increasing the availability and quality of free, evidence based, self-help support resources accessible to the Leicestershire population.

The digital offer will be ready for launch on 01 October 2019 and will be integrated with the wider support offered through the weight management service.

At the present stage of our service development, we are NOT seeking to develop a new app, but are seeking to procure an existing, fully developed app with strong technical support and flexible and responsive monitoring capability.
