NHS England Midlands & East (East) is intending to commission a provider to deliver a Liaison & Diversion Service in Cambridgeshire with an enhanced women's pathway. Liaison and Diversion services aim to support people early in the criminal justice pathway and aim to operate in police investigation centres, magistrates & crown courts and other sites. The service intends to provide rapid assessment and signposting to a range of services including support with people with MH issues, LD, substance misuse, and other health and social needs. The Commissioner wishes to extend the scope of the service to provide in reach Liaison and Diversion services to remand prisons in the region to ensure continuity of care between police custody and prisons.
The contract is anticipated to commence on 1st April 2019 for a duration of 5 years.
Estimated Annual Contract Value: £1 million per annum.
The Commissioner was like to inform potential bidders of a further market engagement event followed by a site visit to HMP Peterborough to be held on Friday 13th July 2018. The Market engagement event will be held from 10am to 11.30am followed by the visit to HMP Peterborough at 12 noon. If you wish to attend the further Market Engagement Event and site visit on the 13th July 2018, please complete the PQQ_511 to register your attendee. The market engagement event will be held at:- Queensgate Hotel, 5-7 Fletton Avenue, Peterborough, PE2 8AX followed by a site visit to HMP Peterborough. Please note the deadline for registering your interest to attend the Market Engagement event and site
visit is 12 noon on 11th July 2018.Only one delegate per organisation will be permitted to attend this event.
Please note that an expression of interest in this market event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement(s) conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to
participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it may be published.

This is purely a market engagement exercise, any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published.
