description

he project vision is to transform the Haematology Day Unit (HDU) at Guy's Hospital site by creating a state of art HDU that will be fit for the future. This will be accomplished by reconfiguring the unit to increase the number and improve the quality of treatment rooms, beds and chairs, and reconfigure the entrance area. It is most likely that to enable the reconfiguration of the unit, the existing offices within the HDU will need to be relocated elsewhere (location(s) to be confirmed).

These changes will allow the service to meet the increasing and future demands of the service, improve patient flow/experience and care, and renovate the current rooms to the standard of a modern unit.

This was awarded through the NHSSBS Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services (HPCCAS) SBS10190 framework
