Virtual Wallet PHB Direct Payments

HIOW ICB have procured Imosphere Formulate to support the direct payment of Personal Health Budgets across all age continuing care including adults, children and young people and those eligible under section 117 of the mental health act.

Imosphere Formulate is a digital tool that calculates an indicative budget based on the individual's care and support needs. This allows clinicians to have a transparent conversation with the client from the beginning about the budget they have to work within when considering how they will purchase services. This supports a strength-based conversation and approach.

The system is consistent and accurate which helps with financial management and consistency of process and provides quality information which helps to identify additional training or process changes where necessary.
