Four contracts were awarded to support improved motivation, learning and achievement in maths and English for all post-16 learners. The Foundation commissioned four strands of work, including an independent evaluation of our work to date.
The following activities were included:
- Delivering courses to improve assessment for learning in maths and English (using newly-developed materials)
- Developing and delivering CPD for support staff to improve progress in maths and English
- Building on existing materials to develop and deliver CPD to embed maths and English in vocational teaching and apprenticeships
- An independent evaluation of the maths and English Pipeline 2014-2019.
