Somerset West and Taunton Council and South Somerset District Council are inviting Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a Housing Need Assessment to assess future development needs for housing (both market and affordable) across the former West Somerset District and Taunton Deane Housing Market Areas and South Somerset District Council. This is a joint commission by Somerset West and Taunton Council and South Somerset District Council. An assessment of housing need is required to support the preparation of new local plans for both authorities
