Provision of Medical Cover for Intermediate Care Beds at Lincombe Manor Nursing Home Torquay

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST:

PROVISION OF MEDICAL COVER FOR INTERMEDIATE CARE BEDS AT LINCOMBE MANOR NURSING HOME, TORQUAY

Torbay and Southern Devon Health & Care NHS Trust (TSDHCT) is inviting offers for the provision of a medical service to Intermediate Care beds at Lincombe Manor Nursing Home in Torquay; eight block-contracted beds , with further spot-contracted beds up to a maximum of 4 additional beds.

The successful Provider will ideally have experience in intermediate care models of care, as well as general practice and/or acute medicine. Applications will be considered from single organisations or co-operative/federated models.

The successful Provider will take on a key role in providing the medical support to the intermediate care multi-disciplinary team that manages these intermediate care patients.

Medical services are required to be available between 0800-1800 hours Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

• There is also a separate opportunity to provide sessional medical cover to the Torquay intermediate care team, based at Union House in Torquay; cover is required for 3 mornings per week.

These are exciting opportunities to work as an integrated part of the intermediate care team, providing medical support, assessment and advice to the team and patients.
