Market Engagement Event for School Aged Immunisations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement - Midlands wish to conduct a Market Engagement Exercise for the Provision of School Aged Immunisation Services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.

The aim of the service is to deliver immunisation services to all eligible children and young people in school and other settings where appropriate (Pupil Referral Units, Home Schooling). The service should provide a dynamic, high performing, safe, effective and dedicated immunisation service that encompasses the immunisation programmes. The service should engage all children and young people and their parents and should be well known to the community it serves.

The provider will need to provide services for the following immunisations:

• Seasonal flu immunisation including Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) and intramuscular (IM) vaccines in line with national roll out plans, this includes special schools (students and staff)
• Tetanus, diphtheria and polio (Td/IPV)
• Meningococcal groups A, C, W and Y (MenACWY)
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV) - girls and boys
• (Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) catch-up

The Commissioner would like to invite providers to a Market Engagement Event at 10:30am on Friday 7th June 2019. Further details of the location of the event will be circulated to delegates once the registration process closes at 3pm on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
