Since 1917 the CWGC has been responsible for maintaining the commemorations of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the World Wars. In the UK, there are over 343,000 casualties across over 13,000 sites. On going research continues to identify those who should be commemorated but have not been and as a result a new "Memorial to the Missing" will be built at Brookwood cemetery to honour those fallen who are already commemorated on the existing memorial and those who have not otherwise been commemorated. This tender is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified suppliers for the creation this new memorial.
