Noise Insulation Contract 2015-2017

The Noise Insulation Contract is used to install noise insulation measures such as secondary glazing to properties in Yorkshire which have been affected by an increase in noise pollution as a result of highway or transport works.

Additional information: NOISE INSULATION CONTRACT 2015-17. The Contract will comprise the installation of noise insulation works, primarily as required by the Noise Insulation Regulations 1975 (as amended), to the properties forwarded to the contractor by the Contract Administrator. All information on properties sent to the contractor will be Eligible Properties. B.3 The properties to which the contractor maybe required to carry out the works of the Noise Insulation Regulations could be located primarily in or around the West Yorkshire area but can be anywhere within the Yorkshire & Humberside Region. The basic works carried out will be instructed by the Contracts Administrator and may include the fitting of secondary glazing, replacing of sealed units, fitting of blinds or the fitting of acoustic ventilators. The successful tenderer must be a member of FENSA.
