description
As you aware BBO have notified that funding is available to extend the Stronger Families programme. The Stronger Families programme has been extended due to the unprecedented impact the global pandemic has had upon our economy. The funders have considered the impact the pandemic has had on unemployment, mental health, children and young people and debt and extended BBO programmes such as ours at a time when it is needed most.
The BBO have set challenging targets in regards to start numbers, outcomes and results so our main objective as a partnership will be generating referrals (unemployed and inactive participants) into the service from a variety of sources including new avenues. We anticipate partners targets will increase which will increase Key Worker starts and outcomes (employment, education and training and in inactive into job search).
The partnership anticipates a blended and creative approach to delivery, taking learning from working during Covid whilst anticipating a possible return to localised/ national lockdown.
As notified in an email to all partners on 12th May. Prospects have notified that they are not continuing beyond the current grant period. Therefore all partners are invited to apply to for this key work opportunity. In line with all other key work partner grants: the provision is from 1st October 2021 - 30th January 2023.
