Site Security Services during deep geothermal development at the Eden Project

Site security services during deep geothermal development at the Eden Project, Cornwall. The programme will commence with the mobilisation of the drilling rig to site in March 2021 and is expected to last until late September 2021. .

Reporting to the EGL Project Manager and Site Manager, the site security contractor will be required to supply continuous security coverage of the operational part of the site. Specific responsibilities on site will include, but may not be limited to: --Staff the security office at the main entrance;

--Control all access and exit to and from the operational area;

--Control vehicle entrance gate and adjoining pedestrian entrance and exit gate;

--Operate and monitor the site CCTV system;

--Answer the site phone;

--Provide health and safety assistance to the Drilling Supervisor as required;

--Manage an induction system for those working on or visiting the site;

--Maintain a record of movements onto and off the site;

--Patrol the site at various times to check perimeter fence, lighting and cameras;

--Ensure that all visitors are authorised and have the appropriate PPE;

--Deter crime;

--Deal with incidents and emergencies;

--Maintain a record of any security-related incidents on site and report to the EGL Project Manager or EGL Site Manager.
