Professional services - Copywriting and proofreading

The Centre for Ageing Better is creating additional frameworks that are each focused on a specific service. These consist of: creative and design; filmmaking and photography; copywriting and proofreading; events.

These new frameworks allow for greater specialism from service providers and for Ageing Better to be more specific with its requirements.

The four frameworks will be treated independently, meaning we welcome bidders who are part of the 2020 framework as well as those who aren't. We would encourage suppliers who are part of the 2020 framework to bid for the specialist frameworks. It also means that suppliers are welcome to bid on a single or multiple frameworks.

The frameworks will be valid for three years; this includes a break clause that's active after two years, which can be activated by either party.

With regards to copywriting and proofreading, we typically require support with editing reports, editing copy on our web pages and producing personal stories or case studies. Proofreading usually encompasses checking spelling, grammar and consistency with our house style for reports that are around 100 pages in length - though shorter reports also sporadically require proofreading. Bidders are welcome to join the framework solely as copywriters or proof-readers or to offer both services, but please be specific in your bid.
