Market Engagement Event - Provision of Primary Medical GP Services at Showell Park Practice in Wolverhampton

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden and GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England (West Midlands) are inviting suitably qualified providers to deliver Alternative Primary Medical Services at Showell Park Practice in Wolverhampton.

This Primary Medical Care Service contract has an anticipated start date of 1.8.2016.

The Service Specification will be fully developed following patient engagement and the successful provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the diverse local population. The Provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. The services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the provider will be expected to deliver:

• a)High quality Primary Medical Services responsive to the needs of the local population;
• b)Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health;
• c)Essential services;
• d)All additional services;
• e)All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England and Wolverhampton CCG;
• f)Increased access.

NHS England (West Midlands) would like to invite you to attend a Market Engagement Event which will be held on 06.10.2015, 13:00-16:00 in Birmingham.

An expression of interest in this market event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise.

Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.

Additional information: The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise and reserves the right to use a reverse auction.

The services to which this notice relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 of the Public Services Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) ('the Regulations').
