The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (The Council) invited organisations with relevant experience of providing Carers services to submit bids for the above contract on behalf of Adult Social Care and Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group.
The Council aims to achieve the following outcomes:
Carers are involved and co-produce services to meet their needs
No carer will be left isolated or unsupported
Carers are assisted to make informed choices
Carers are supported to be active citizens , leading fulfilling lives and making a positive contribution to their communities Carers organisations have strategic leadership and promote partnership working
The contract will commence on 1st April 2016 and will be for a period of 3 years, with an optional extension of up to 2 years, to be exercised at the Council's discretion.
