description
The purpose of this notice is to notify the market that the Department for Education is considering a procurement exercise to appoint suitably qualified contractors in each of the
- government office regions, to deliver activity to support both a trust development offer and school improvement offer.
If procured, these contractors would be required to undertake the following activities -
- delivering a range of sector-led events for trust leaders, supporting and facilitating networks and peer review relationships to secure a high level of engagement in trust-to-trust development activities within a region. This should result in the effective sharing of knowledge and experience, and trust-to-trust support and challenge.
- the matching of eligible schools and trusts to suitable system leaders/strong trusts to provide support through our trust and school improvement offers. This activity would also include monitoring the delivery of this support.
Ahead of commencing any future procurement, we wish to engage with the market to outline our requirements and explain how potential bidders may ready themselves for any procurement process that may follow. We will be holding 2 online early supplier engagement events for interested parties on 4 May 9.30 - 10.30 am and 6 May 12-1 pm. These events will also provide an opportunity for potential bidders to ask questions regarding the draft requirements.
If you are interested in attending one of these events, please respond to the question contained in the qualification envelope within the opportunity listing for the early supplier engagement event SSQ_252 notification by 15:00 on 3 May 2022 accessible via e-sourcing platform - Jaggaer - https://education.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html These events will be held on Microsoft Teams and a calendar invite will be sent to you upon registering your interest.
