Therapeutic Counselling Service for Children and Young People in Merton

NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a Therapeutic Counselling Service for Children and Young people.

The service will provide early intervention and support for emotional disorders and self-harm, being commissioned to deliver the Government targets set out in Future in Mind and The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health, including an early help service for emotional disorders and self-harm at a 'Getting Help' level in Merton.

A local service will be established to build on the pilot work undertaken in 2016/17 and 2017/18 as part of CAMHS transformation in Merton, with the aim to commission an evidence-based, community-based service for young people aged 11-18 years, to provide counselling and therapy for emotional disorders and self-harm.
