Market and Promoting of Bletchley and Vacant Sites

The requirement for market research, is to provide data and statistical information that is specific to the Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Area (see Appendix 1). This data and information will then be used by MKCC in its subsequent marketing campaign (out of scope of this tender.)

In order to create a successful marketing campaign, Bletchley specific information must be used. Therefore, the procurement of consultants to produce a Bletchley Databook is required.

The successful team will demonstrate a strong emphasis on research, data, and trends analysis.

As a minimum, we require the appointed consultant team to ensure that the Databook would contain but not limited to the following data.

Analysis of Bletchley and Fenny Stratford within the context of Milton Keynes and national averages. MKCC is also seeking benchmarking the analysis against other similar towns across the UK for the below data requirements:

• oAnalysis of Key Industries within the Bletchley Area

• oInsight into potential economic growth areas (including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats - SWOT analysis)

• oAverage Salary information for those Key Industries

• oAnalysis of offer, capability and availability of Education Provision (Further/Higher)

• oTransport Connectivity of Bletchley, Road/Rail Links (East West Rail etc)

• oOverview of the Local Housing market data

• oOverview of commercial property market with consideration to land use types, occupancy levels, vacancy rates and average rents

The data and insights need to use the most up-to-date data and provide all sources accordingly. It needs to be delivered with a final PDF report and excel spreadsheet versions of the data, so the information can be picked up and used within any marketing messages, content for a website, copy for an article etc.
